Privacy Policy

General information‍
The Fairy Nails serves clients by appointment. Walk-in clients might be served subject to availability. Clients can walk in to make bookings for future appointments. Please check our website for availability or contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

The time we set aside for your personal appointment is very valuable to us; we respect your time, so please respect ours. We kindly ask that you arrive with an idea of what you’d like on your nails, and between 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to select/decide on colours and designs.

Online Reservations
The fastest and most efficient way by far is by making a reservation online.
Reservations can be made as late as one hour in advance and as early as one month in advance. While we are confident in your card information being kept secure by Square’s high encryption standards, those who prefer not to store their card details can use a digital gift card as an alternative.

You may cancel or reschedule your own bookings up to one day prior to the appointment. If we detect any issues with your reservation, we will contact you in advance.

Cancellations & rescheduling
We request at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment.‍ Appointments cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours. Rescheduling within 24 of an appointment is subject to a charge of 50% of the service fee.‍

Appointments canceled within 2 hours will incur a charge of 100% of the service amount. ‍Cancellations or rescheduling made more than 24 hours before the appointment will be processed without a penalty.

Appointments canceled within 24 hours or for which clients are a “No-Show” will incur a charge of 50% of the service amount. If a 50% deposit has been made to reserve the appointment, the client will lose the deposit.

No-show
If a customer misses their appointment without any communication, they will be charged the full amount as a 100% service cost.

Services
Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or if you are pregnant. We are not responsible for damages caused by products if prior information about your condition has not been provided to our staff.

If you come to an appointment but have a change of mind then we can refuse your request. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late then we require your appointment to be rescheduled and a 50% service rate is charged. If our staff has less time due to your lateness then we might refuse to serve the original services and request to serve a different service that takes less time. However, you will still be charged at your original service rate booked. To guarantee quality for each set, we will not compromise quality due to limited time.

The Fairy Nails is not required to provide notice for changes in service price. Price changes are not applied to appointments already booked, only for appointments booked after the price changes have been made.

Child policy
The minimum age for nail extensions is 14 years old.

Our salon is not a child-safe environment and either you or our staff can look after the kids during the service, so please let us know beforehand if you’re bringing a child. If your child is an active type then we do not recommend bringing them along to the salon.

Credit cards
Credit card information is required to make a deposit and reserve bookings. If consented, your credit card information is saved to file for future transactions associated with your account.

Deposits
Clients are required to make a deposit valued at 50% of the appointment value to reserve an appointment.

Liability
The Fairy Nails is not liable for damages of any kind caused by the nail shop due to the client providing incorrect and/or incomplete information on relevant physical disorders, drug use, work, or leisure. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property that the customer has taken to our shop.

Warranty
The Fairy Nails gives clients a week (7 days) guarantee on the treatment and products. This warranty is void if:

  • The client has the (artificial) nails serviced by another nail shop.
  • The client works without gloves with harsh chemicals.
  • The client engaged in sports that require active hand usage ie. bouldering, boxing, etc.
  • The client has the artificial nails bitten or intentionally aborted.
  • The client used products other than those recommended by the nail shop for the maintenance of the (artificial) nails.
  • The client has not followed the advice from the nail shop for the aftercare of (artificial) nails.
  • The client neglects the advice to seek medical help.
  • The client did not use the products according to the instructions.‍

Complaint & refund policy
If the customer has a complaint about the treatment or product, it must be reported as soon as possible but no later than within 3 working days after discovery in writing (via email or social media). The Fairy Nails must give the complainant adequate response within 3 working days of receiving the complaint. If a complaint is justified, the nail shop will fix the issue; or the client receives credit for future appointments. No cash refund is to be issued.

Concerns raised after 72 hours of your last appointment might not be subject to a free-of-charge fix.
You are paying for the artist’s time, product, and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refund will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact us within 5 days of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done with a complimentary 30-minute express touch-up if it is at the fault of the application or product. We don’t take responsibility for any concerns addressed after 5 days of your last appointment, or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions.

Code of conduct
We ask that clients treat our staff with patience and kindness. If the client exposes rude or violent behaviors towards our staff, The Fairy Nails has the right to refuse to serve the client in the future.

Gift vouchers
Vouchers expire 1 year after purchase, are available to redeem on any product or service at The Fairy Nails, and are not redeemable for cash.

Please note: we reserve the right to refuse your booking and refund what you have paid.
